Today’s auction du jour is for a game-used 2002 Newark Bears cap, size 7 1/2. According to the seller, it has very light use and was caught behind the Bears’ dugout following the championship-clinching game in 2002. With just under a day and a half left, this cap has received just one bid and the price stands at $6.
If this cap were my size, or if we knew who the player was that wore it, I’d be bidding. It’s a great logo, from a team with a storied tradition that sadly doesn’t seem likely to exist for much longer.
