Traveling correspondent Vinny Haynes (@buhudabear) sent these photos from Saturday’s matchup of ex-Mets at Skydome Rogers Centre.
Mike Pelfrey‘s Minnesota Twins got the better of R.A. Dickey‘s Toronto Blue Jays as he and three relievers combined to pitch a four-hit shutout.
From my point of view, the wrong ex-Met won.

If the Mets still had all three of these guys, how many more wins do you think they’d have right now? (and I’m not suggesting they should have retained any of them, necessarily.) I’m guessing they’d have around five additional wins, which means a much more expensive team that would be right around .500.
