About me

I’m a child of the 1980s who never completely finished growing up.

I’ve loved action figures since I got my first Luke Skywalker toy sometime during the summer of 1980 (and yes, I still have him… minus some of the original paint.) I had toys from most of the notable lines of the 1980s, with the exception of G.I. Joe.

In the 1990s, I got involved in action figure collecting through Starting Lineups, Playmates’ Star Trek line, and the “new” Star Wars line that celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.

These days, Hasbro’s 3 & 3/4″ Star Wars figures are still my primary focus, though I’m also a fan of Marvel Legends, Lego, and Funko Pops.

I thought it would be fun to have a place to share toy photos, remember days gone by and get excited about cool new action figures, so I created this blog to focus on Tiny Plastic People.
