- It was Jose Reyes‘ 1000th career game, and he went 4-for-4
- The Mets won, going above .500 for the first time since April 6th when they were 3-2.
- Jason Bay hit the Mets’ first grand slam since Aug. 1st, 2009
- In the next inning, Carlos Beltran hit another grand slam, giving the Mets two in one game for only the second time in franchise history.
