The Newark Bears will bring back their “Stadium of Screams” haunted house event next month. For two weekends, Oct. 18-21 and 25-28, as well as Halloween itself, Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium will become a “bone-chilling haunted attraction” featuring three separate indoor haunts.
Admission into the stadium, where there will be live entertainment, costume contests and carnival games, is free. Admission into the three haunted attractions is $20. A hay ride that takes place on the field costs $5. Mystery dinners will also available.
On Saturday, Oct. 27, the Bears will hold a costume contest for dogs—with winners being chosen for scariest, most creative and cutest costumes, as well as a talent competition and an Ugliest Dog category.

If any of you go to the Bears’ “Stadium of Screams” this Halloween, send me reports – I’m a bit past the age range to go to haunted houses. 😉
